Today #Iran's regime's supreme leader gave public remarks where he labeled President Trump a "criminal" and blamed him for the protests--which is classic Khamenei as it's always a conspiracy and externalizes events to deflect blame--where he admitted "several thousands" were killed. Khamenei also signaled that “The Iranian nation will not let go of the domestic and international criminals behind this unrest." This shows that the regime will not stop the killings in the long-run and Western nations should be prepared for renewed Islamic Republic extraterritorial terror plotting abroad to silence its critics. But Khamenei should be careful with his words. Only a few days before President Trump took out Qassem Soleimani in 2020, Khamenei taunted him saying he couldn't do anything and also accused him of "crimes."
