That shows the level they went to prepare for the match. But obviously, the coach had no clear plans for how to progress in the match after his team scored. That’s correct. You guys were supposed to attack, fight for every ball, and give the Argentines little or no room to plot a comeback. However, Tuchel chose another approach, which was to defend, and it didn’t work. Defending at that stage of the game allowed the Argentines to enjoy more possession which allowed them to create many scoring opportunities. You guys are lucky they scored only two. It was supposed to be four.
