CHC2DE students hosted a museum of Canadian history today for their Culminating assignments. Students chose themes within Canadian history and created expositions to represent their theme from 1914-today. Loved seeing the creativity and passion! @HHSS_RedHawks@TLDSB
The CHC2DE class started off today with a competition to choose Canada's new flag! We looked at ones submitted for consideration in 1964 then students designed and voted on a new design. Here are the top three! Which would you prefer? @HHSS_RedHawks@TLDSB

NBE3C students finished creating our StoryWalk today using the book "The Orange Shirt Story". The walk follows the forest path from JDH to HHSS, and allows those completing it to reflect on the impact of Residential Schools in Canada. @HHSS_RedHawks@TLDSB_FNIM#OrangeShirtDay

Beautiful day for a tour! Students chose locations around the school and wrote stories using the past tense in French, then acted as tour guides as we toured the grounds. We learned where the cafeteria gets its food, how a rock got its name, and more! @HHSS_RedHawks@TLDSB#fsl
