Here's the bottom line -- Tucker, Candace, and others lost the plot a long time ago. They've trafficked in bigotry and insane conspiracy theories for a long time. But the rest of the right liked it when it was directed at their enemies. The only difference now -- the *only* difference -- is that Tucker, Candace, etc. have aimed fire at their friends. There has been no sudden devolution. It's the same devolution. Ask the rest of us how honest or accurate or sane these people have been over the last several years. But the Trump right liked it then, because hating mutual enemies is the ticket to entry. Dishonesty against Democrats or Trump-critical Republicans is fine because Flight 93 or something. But dishonesty against Charlie Kirk? Then it's "Have you no decency, sir?" Dishonesty and bigotry and conspiracies are wrong no matter the target.
