Are you really a PhD student if you don’t have an increasingly magpie-like collection of little trinkets covering your desk?

At this point, getting a manuscript comment asking why I didn’t include seabirds and marine mammals in my study that is so clearly an experimental aquaria study is hilarious to me. Reckon we can look into that capacity with the expansion @SeaSim_AIMS ?

Don’t get a camera to watch your dog at home because you might find out she spends the majorityof her time sitting in one spot looking sad. She sat in this exact position for over an hr. 😭

There needs to be post-phd training on how to de-couple your self worth from your research output. And a support group.
