@nkgoutham @droid I totally agree with you. droid harness are great but why not do byok and stay at the $20 plan with $100 codex plan save some money and get more usage

I’m trying to not fall for ChatGPT/Codex vs Claude Code hype.
Take the @droid Max sub and get the best of codex and claude code, and a lot of open source models.
Droid $200 sub is the best value for $200 now.
Even if you’re thinking of the $100 claude and $100 codex, I’d suggest take the $200 droid instead

@nathanj815 @bygregorr The CLI pushes session into a service in GitHub, that is what is rendered in web and mobile. The CLI in parallel queries that service for new events like new user messages, changing modes, etc.

Biggest difference when coding with GROK 4 by @xai compared to Claude 4 or GPT-5: Claude and GPT-5 are eager, producing more code for UI embellishments or extra features. Grok 4 is minimalistic, generating exactly what you specify. This is better in the long run.

To clarify, Matt is using the Claude Code provider in Cline, meaning that he can tap into his Claude Max (or Pro) subscription and not pay any additional costs per request.
