i would gently encourage players to direct their anger at the company rather than their fellow fans right now. at the end of the day, infold could have chosen to resolve this differently so as to foster a better peace unto the community, but they didn’t.

@annavanarya Hello everyone, I’m the girl who sent the flowers for Valko. I hope you can read this carefully.

This CN player posted a photo of herself holding a bouquet in front of the Infold building. The flowers were meant for the as a gesture of appreciation and love for Valko. However, as far as I understand, they couldn’t be accepted due to safety regulations. The card reads: "致全体敖尹推：幸福快乐每一天！风里雨里7.9等你！" Translation: “To all Ao Yin fans: May you be happy every single day! We’ll be waiting for you on July 9, rain or shine!” The comments under the post are overwhelmingly positive and it really warmed my heart. I just wanted to share this side of the CN fandom as well. i’ve never been worried for ppg’s longevity even despite valko’s release, but this extreme capitulation—which seems to have been made in haste to placate players’ anger and ensure revenue, rather than truly listening/addressing concerns—actually does worry me. a lot.

if it’s this heartbreaking for us, i can’t even imagine how devastating it must be for valko’s dev team, all the artists, writers, VAs involved. it’s so sad

like I’m grieving over valko but the fact that they can just delete a character just like that with no closure means that it could happen to Caleb and other lis lorea and progress also… I don’t believe the progress will be good

Valko got the most angst ending among all love interests. Leaving us with zero closure giving us glimps how it could feel being loved by him

His dev team should just leak all his content and walk away at this point. All that hard work to be thrown in the trash over crybabies who cant handle seeing a man one percent darker than a sheet of paper

for jjk fans this valko situation is like coming on twitter and seeing gojo’s body sliced in half for the first time
