The Great Toronto Fire of 1904 happened 122 years ago today on April 19, 1904. The fire destroyed more than 100 buildings and caused about $10.4 million in damage. There were no direct deaths, though several firefighters were injured and one worker later died during demolition of the ruins. @briangarrett Yeah it’s primarily the financial district with a few branches to the King West theatre district and pretty close to Harbourfront in the south.

I really like this whole “underground city” concept in Montreal Quebec it comes in super handy on days when it’s raining or snowing or when it’s just really cold and you don’t wanna be out on the streets there’s tons of great food spots, stores and businesses kinda like a mall 👌

@Rizo78 😆 Yeah I hope they keep the sign. I think the Spadina tunnel still has a “Hold Handrail” sign on the wall for the moving walkway long gone.

@totalIyjade When I was a Teenager they had free magazines in the lobby with articles about movies and posters. I’d cut the out and stick them on my wall. Most of them magazine page size. The odd fold out poster of a big movie. Marquee and Tribute magazines! I miss those.
