The Denver Nuggets were the best 3-point shooting team in the regular season by far
They shot 32.1% on wide open 3s in the first round, which would have been last in the NBA by far
The Wolves shot 44.7%, which would have been first in the NBA by far
Re: the NBA betting scandal...
I think we should treat pro athletes and coaches the same way we treat members of Congress: let them bet on the games as long as they publicly disclose it.
Then, if they fail to disclose, we punish them with a small fine or no consequences at all.
Aaron Gordon posted the highest Daily RAPM Estimate (DRE) of any player this season in last night’s game vs GSW.
Unfortunately for Denver, Steph Curry had the second-highest DRE of the year in the same game.
Free agent center Luke Kornet has agreed to a four-year, $41 million deal with the San Antonio Spurs, sources tell ESPN. Key frontcourt addition for the Spurs, who negotiated a contract tonight with Kornet's agent Max Wiepking of Gersh Sports.
**MODEL UPDATES**
Game 5 tonight in OKC!
- OKC currently about 2-to-1 favs to win the series, per the model.
- If Pacers steal Game 5, the odds will flip & they'd become the 2-to-1 favorites.
- But if OKC takes Game 5, they’ll have about an 84% chance to win the title.
Today's model update is a good one!
For the first time in months, OKC is *not* the model’s favorite to win the 2025 NBA Championship.
Instead, it's the Pacers, who have 54.3% chance to win the title.
Most likely individual outcome is "Thunder in 7."
Today's NBA Finals forecast.
There’s a 10.7% chance we get the matchup everyone seems to want: Knicks vs. Wolves.
Would be a great way to determine who "won" the trade 😅
Okay, so let me get this straight.
When a woman is publicly overweight, she’s “brave”, but when a man is publicly overweight, he ... “gets traded to the Lakers.”
