I know this doesn't look like much, but I just trained a neural network on a @googlecloud TPU VM with #Elixir and #Axon. I think this makes Elixir one of the few other languages with easy TPU support #MyElixirStatus 1/

@ChrisKeathley Umbrellas remind me of VisualStudio Solutions. They invert the dependency structure and therefore cannot be nested. (An umbrella cannot be a meaningful dependency). They are for building monoliths.

Mathematically speaking, there has to be a good umbrella app out there. An app where all of the extra complexity was worth the trade off. But I’ve sure as hell never seen it.

Nerves 1.7.3 is out. This fixes a toolchain and system artifact download hang that popped up recently and affected downloads from GitHub releases.

Updated Nerves systems are out for all supported devices. They contain the usual set of security, bug and feature updates on the Linux side. The Raspberry Pi 4 now boots to 64-bit mode to better support memory-intense projects and in anticipation of AArch64 BeamJIT support.
