I speak only for me, but part of my healing process was through films like I Spit on Your Grave. It is grimy and exploitative, but its on-screen portrayal of assault helped me through my trauma. I feel anyone who says "All media should not show this" tend to ignore this POV.

As a survivor of assault, the discourse surrounding rape in cinema bothers me. I absolutely understand it can be triggering and traumatic to see assault in cinema. It is often shown for shock value. .... however, it can be strangely healing to see painful experiences recreated.

Just opened this app, and it’s like a never-ending stream of fights, complaints, shade, and so much projection. This place can be suffocating. I know people should express themselves, but there's only so much one can take in before feeling drained.

Once a sleeping giant, now it roams the land The torch it used to light the way has fallen from its hand Problems hid for centuries, laid bare for all to see And pollution is the legacy that ruined the shining sea Maybe if we join our voices we can make the giant hear?

@mobillwillis Talking to a web designer about things. Trying to find the right direction to go with. The suites having issues I can't resolve on my own. Honestly it's got me a little excited on where it could take things. Been considering a self publishing using the marketing plan they suggest

Got the results from the COVID test back. Negative. I'm gonna get tested again on Sunday to see if anything's changed, but....I am shaking this is such a relief.
