Ok bud, First up, owning miniatures doesn't mean you respect the lore or actually value 40k and what story those minis hold. People can simply buy them because they're "cool" looking, and not understand what they are or what lore they have. (example my mom bought 40k as a gift to me, simply because she thought it looked neat and cool, that doesn't mean my mother is a fan of 40k or understands it, also it was also tau, thanks mom😑) And you "owned" them? So you sold or gave away your minis. What value you had in them wasn't enough to hold onto them. This and the fact that you stated that nothing is canon in 40k, tells me you have no real interest in 40k anymore as you devalue its lore and world building. Where as i still own all of my miniatures I bought, I own practically every faction from 40k because I'm a kitbasher, and bash or sculpt new models into existence that still don't have an official release simply cause I'm a craftsman that enjoys the craft, But even as a kitbasher, I still want GW to make an Armageddon Steel Legion for the simple fact that it shows admiration and growth in the community for those that love that faction, it's what a true fan would want, more minis for more people to enjoy, Instead you reject that notion simply cause you see no value in the miniatures for multiple reasons. And hence why I don't consider you a fan of 40k, for you just don't care enough or respect the value of the minis and reject the demand of new models, and dont care for the lore or for the longevity of 40k, By all means, your not a 40k fan.

@TearShapedHeart Mate, Your not a 40k fan, your a aos fan. You have said multiple times that you generally dont care for 40k factions or know enough of the lore to see if the models are corect, so why should your opinion matter on 40k when you have practically zero interest into 40k.

Krieg and steel arent the same, small details make very large differences between the guard regiments based on their lore and have appealed to. Large amount of fans, a real 40k fan would know this, And stating that people can kitbash or paint them differently is just another excuse for GW laziness and why they would fail as a company to expand and sell their universe, For GW's main revenue is based on service that entice people into the franchise and sell the new plastic minis, (steel legion can and should be one of them,) If they cant provide the product or service, the customers wont see the benefit from buying GW products and slowly die as a company. For if GW doenst want to serve the customers/fans than the customers/fans will serve them selfs, and gw will be left with nothing from losing customers and fans to cheaper alternative.

They're also not beholden to how I or any customer spends their money. They wanna ruin their company by pushing communistic woke agendas while rejecting economic corporate growth like Disney Star Wars, so be it. The company will burn their franchise to the ground, And starving for money they will devouring itself into obsolescence. Meanwhile other companies who do value customers and the franchise will grow and replace them. In the end decisions like this (pushing for woke communism in companies like GW) will force them to forever play catch up to other smaller companies until they're forced to sell for crumbs of what they were. And why many of the 40k fans state that we love 40k, but HATE GW. Similarly to Star Wars fans hating Disney, Doctor who fans hating bbc, or Star Trek fans hating CBS/Paramount, or any other fan base hating Netflix and so on. (Fans love the franchise and the product, not the company run by ideological and greedy morons.)
