I know Christians want all non Christians to find Christ, but the way some of them go about it really isn't going to help them at all. They tell us to repent. And accept Jesus and then tell us we're evil and insult our religion and spew so much hate, I'm not sure if that's part of their plan and way to get people or what, but whatever it is, it needs to stop.

I was born into Christianity and had the exact same experiences. At 16, I even had a preacher tell an entire congregation there was evil in the ‘house’ and he called me up to ‘exercise’ the demons from me 😆 I went up thinking ‘well g-d that’s embarrassing’ …but I was super curious for the experience 😆😆😆 (spoiler alert nothing happened except we all thought preacher was going to have heart attack) My friends and I had many good laugh out of it and honestly it was worth the laughs. Later …I was in college at about 18 and some psychopath came and sat at my table telling me I was going to hell blah blah blah Jesus blah blah blah… I dropped my few crosses off at a pawn shop and the guy asked when I was coming back for them… I said never… some people are nutters. And they are insufferable for all normies 😰 I am sorry you are targeted. Tell ‘em: ‘Satan be gone’ 🫣😘🧚🏽‍♂️

It is a day that demands solemn respect and an unwavering commitment to the democratic values that bind our nation together. It is for this exact reason that many of us in the community feel compelled to state unequivocally: Zohran Mamdani has no place at the upcoming 25th-anniversary 9/11 memorial events.** To stand at Ground Zero is to stand in defiance of terrorism. Yet, Mamdani has consistently utilized his platform to promote rhetoric that many constituents find deeply anti-American and aggressively anti-Israel. At a time when leadership requires moral clarity, his public associations and statements have severely fractured our community. The objections to his presence are rooted in documented actions and public stances, including: *Public officials have a fundamental duty to condemn terrorism without caveat. Instead, the Assemblymember and his wife have engaged in social media activity and public signaling that excuse, justify, or even 'like' the horrific realities of the October 7th massacres. Aligning with and supporting organizations that defend or run cover for terrorist entities completely disqualifies an elected official from standing in solidarity with the victims of 9/11. You cannot excuse terror abroad while pretending to mourn the victims of terror at home. His consistent legislative and public campaigns aimed at isolating democratic allies, while turning a blind eye to the extremism that threatens global security, contradict the very spirit of resilience and unity that New York rebuilt itself upon. The 9/11 Memorial is sacred ground. It is not a photo opportunity for politicians whose daily rhetoric and digital footprints actively embolden the same ideological extremism that brought down the Twin Towers. We, the people of this city, demand consistency, integrity, and patriotism from those who seek to represent us. We stand with the victims of terrorism—whether in New York or in Israel—and we refuse to allow the memory of September 11th to be cheapened by the presence of those who lack the moral courage to condemn terror in all its forms. @mobiusverde The Israeli man that you had this great conversation with is a good representative of the Israelis living in the communities next to Gaza, people who literally thought in terms of "We", embodying coexistence. That dream/delusion died on 10/7 when reality hit like a hammer.

I have only known one Palestinian in my life, which I would say is probably more than 99% of Americans have known. I was working in a bar, and so was he. I was in college; maybe he was too. I have never really had enemies in my life. Mostly, people have seemed to trust me. I have moments when people share something special with me, and I never quite know why. One day, this young Palestinian man offered me a gift - he told me he was going to look at a condo for sale - It was an amazing deal. He was pretty sure he would not be able to buy it, but he said he would give me the first option if he could not. We went together, just the two of us, and wandered through the condo, each dreaming our own dreams about how we might buy it. It was the perfect condo, in the perfect location, a fire-sale / gift from G-d. Neither of us knew how to purchase a $100k condo even though the asking price was only $37k. (The woman was going to have a baby any day and she was gifting it to the next owner for the price her parents had paid for it) Since 10/7, I have thought of him. The only truth he ever revealed to me about his hatred and anger concerning Palestine, was never once a peep about Israel or Jews. Never once did he ever tread close to blaming anyone other than the terrorist leaders of ‘Palestine’ for any hardship he had related to being ‘Palestinian’. We did not speak about the middle east, but the one time we did - it was clear the blame was the terrorist leaders of his people. ————————————— It was maybe a year or two later that I met my first Israeli, then his wife, and not long after that, three Israeli backpackers (and more after that). I was in a six-month Spanish-language program in San José, Costa Rica, and an Israeli man invited a few of us to his home on Wednesdays for dinner with him and his wife. She worked at the Israeli Embassy, and he was deeply immersed in learning Spanish. I was in my final semester of college, finishing a degree in International Studies. The husband explained the three-zone system to me, and I am pretty sure we discussed it far longer than would be normal for “normal” people. I was intrigued by the history and by the constant failed attempts to stop terror attacks. I am a very inquisitive person, and unlike most children who eventually stop asking why, who, when, and how, I simply never did. At the time, I asked him every question that came to mind, and he answered them all. I cannot remember the specifics of everything he told me, but I can say that I believed him: He never wanted the zones or the divisions. And he spoke in terms of “we” in everything he said, as though Israel had never wanted the zones.
