I opposed Trump's war against Iran. There was no imminent threat to the US. All other means of achieving US objectives were not exhausted. He did not consult with Congress.
But if Trump's war produces democracy in Iran, permanent nuclear and missile disarmament & the end of support for terrorists forever, I will praise him.

The absolute best way to understand the difference between US and Mexican culture is to watch how people leave a dinner party.
🇺🇸 The US: You wait for a lull in conversation, announce to the table that it is getting late, thank the host, and walk to your car.
Total time: five minutes max
🇲🇽 The Mexican: You announce you are leaving. This initiates a new round of conversation. Ten minutes later, you stand up. Then you go to every single person in the room for a hug, a kiss on the cheek, and a small departing chat.
Total time: thirty minutes, at least
It is an entire social event you have to build into your schedule, but it’s one of the many reasons Mexican culture feels so warm and welcoming.

@QuestsAbroad I grew up in Indianapolis and it was the same thing. I remember one time my parents put me in the car, went back in to say goodbye and I woke up 2 hours later still sitting in the driveway 😂 Pretty sure the car was running the whole time too.
