The “I love pancakes” “oh so you hate waffles” thing is already well called out. But way more insidious is people saying “I hate waffles” and then later saying stuff like “can’t believe I’m getting hate for saying I love pancakes”

@makro_art This applies to everything ever anyway, if slavery is glossed over in a text then it means that the writer thinks there are cases where slavery could be justified or otherwise just not bad(see Harry Potter where this happens because it's a race of creatures that "want it")
