@lelkathy He is playing pretend when it comes to their finances, but he is often looking for affection from Cassie, even in private. He is the one who initiates. If he was pretending, he wouldnt even bother because all Cassie wants is financial security.

@modealltypes idk it's anything but tenderness, love or even respect now, if there were such moments they all stayed in s2. but i agree about Jules, i mean their scene made it clear he's still himself and just playing pretend in his current life

@gbennylola As he said, you love who you love. There are a lot of women with Cassie's personality who get married. In fact, her personality type seems to neuter the men they are with, so Nate's transformation doesnt surprise me at all. Over the years I have seen at least 4 real life examples
