We knew the bees would love this, trialling the new and improved Apimix 1kg pouches, checked in today and it’s like happy hour at Weatherspoons the rate they’re taking it!😍

@GwenynGruffydd @ElmTreeBees No doubt it works ok, the down side is that it’s very brittle, we found that it was virtually impossible to post out. I think we melted several thousand sheets.

@modernbeekeeper @ElmTreeBees A bit more fragile but bees draw it out like crazy. Much faster than other forms of foundation according to Thomas🇫🇷 I found the same with the casted wax I use. Bees love it.

We're looking for an all singing, all dancing, commercial grade wax foundation maker. Where do we get one from?

@GwenynGruffydd @WeobleyHoney Probably not the best test, but I can safely say here that bees will use plastic foundation and frames very well. Done right their is no difference.

@WeobleyHoney I agree waxed foundation is probably 10x better

My unwaxed plastic frame experiment….first look! Got to say…very promising!

@GwenynGruffydd We hear you! Though we decided to change from DPD due to reliability issues.

Hope DPD decides to turn up today with an empty van or 2… Running a small business has plenty of stress without couriers not turning up when they should 🙄🙄 #DPD

I'm happy I bought a spare Provap before they a) Put their price up b) became a nightmare to get hold of in the UK. Suprised how well it continues to work. 2000+ vapes now, it's been bashed around a bit but still runs well. Now for a o ring change.
