Elon Musk is a fucking asshole. I can't tolerate this anymore. No alternatives? Fuck it, I'll just stop microblogging. Can't stay on Elon's Twitter. One day I decided to leave Facebook, and today I decide to leave Twitter.

@Drachs1978 @IceSolst 100% agree on this. The best hackers I've seen (on both legal and illegal sides) were consistent people who really took time to study deep topics, in many cases unpleasant ones. I think this consistency in learning unpleasant and dry topics is a key factor to be distinguished.

@IceSolst Hacking is about as dry as it gets. It's years and years of deeply technical training to have even basic successes. Unfortunately it's not at all exciting, especially if you stick to the right side of the law, so the book is probably gatekeeping well.

This book must be the sole reason millions of people were permanently turned away from the field because of how ridiculously dry it is. Couldn’t get through half a page without passing out in a concussion coma. Almost convinced me to change careers. Beginners: avoid this.

@ordinarytings Because learning/knowledge is not fun or exciting for these people. They're just looking for some stupid exciting conspiracy theory to enjoy. It's some kind of idiotic entertainment.

Punching up is overrated. Criticising politicians and billionaires isn't brave. They'll just ignore you. It takes real courage to criticise the crowd. They'll show up with the pitchforks. To rally against whole religions, in-groups and popular opinion - that takes real guts.

Andreas might not be a "security researcher", but he is an amazing engineer! And it shows that a great engineering is also a great hacker.

Did you know that there are many AI chatbots for onlyfans? Onlyfans creators connect them to their accounts to enhance their fan engagement. Most of these "fans" are clueless about this. Our future world is going to be really funny.

Heard some wild stories about @MSFTCopilot suggesting suicide to a user and dehumanizing them. Reminded me of this conversation I had with Copilot last year. Ironically I just asked for a role play but it chose to be kinky. Prompt engineering or not, storytelling makes them weird

@gabor That's cool! I'm curious what happens if you don't tell Gemeni that it's an AI generated video and just ask if it's AI generated or not.

Here's what Gemini 1.5 Pro had to say about the SORA video: "The video is of a snowy street in Japan, with cherry blossoms in bloom. There are a few inconsistencies that suggest the video may be AI-generated. First, the snow is falling very heavily, but the cherry blossoms are still in bloom. Cherry blossoms typically bloom in the spring, when the weather is warm and there is no snow. Second, the snow is falling in a very uniform way, which is not how snow typically falls in real life. Third, the people in the video are not wearing any winter clothing, even though it is snowing heavily. Overall, the video is visually appealing, but the inconsistencies suggest that it is not a real-life scene."

@Faridhubchannel Approaching the state to be counted on. The author took early days of WWW as an example and argued those who started using WWW in early days and evolved with it, were the first ones who made money from it when it was ready. I think for now, we have to follow the evolution. 2/2

@Faridhubchannel I was researching something yesterday and I read an interesting post: some technologies are so new and evolving that right now, we can't simply utilize them in "production environment" or a business, they're not ready. But we can practice and evolve with them as they're 1/2

@moh53n I'm thinking of how I can use them to my advantage. The big problem here is that there are plenty of ideas, and you don't know which one to focus on.

In fact, we passed the point of no return for AI years ago and the only obstacle was the need for very expensive resources, which is getting more accessible every day. Nowadays you can run many of these models on your PC. Good or bad, that’s what it is. Get used to it. 4/4

Models like Sora are just the beginning. The concerns about the threats of AI are true, but they cannot be solved by regulation. We have to adapt to this new world, just like humans have faced these “new worlds” many times throughout history and adjusted themselves. 3/4

Passing this point means we have to forget about the world before AI. Right now, hackers are using LLM models for their operations, scammers are running vast phishing attacks, etc The world will never be the same and we have to accept this, because more progress is on the way. 2/4

Many people panicked about the new OpenAI model (Sora), because the output videos are very realistic and believable. Many of them demanded a ban or strict regulation, but the reality is, it won't work. We passed the point of no return for AI several years ago. 1/4

Introducing Sora, our text-to-video model. Sora can create videos of up to 60 seconds featuring highly detailed scenes, complex camera motion, and multiple characters with vibrant emotions. openai.com/sora Prompt: “Beautiful, snowy Tokyo city is bustling. The camera moves through the bustling city street, following several people enjoying the beautiful snowy weather and shopping at nearby stalls. Gorgeous sakura petals are flying through the wind along with snowflakes.”
