The High Court yesterday made a very important decision. When you take a loan from any lending institution, the amount of interest accrued cannot exceed the amount you received from the institution (principal). Meaning if you borrow kshs. 100,000, you cannot pay more than kshs.200,000 in total. This is good news to many Kenyans. Tag that one lending institution wajionee habari kamili.

The US and Israel are Murder Machines that have no interest in Diplomacy or International law. Why does the EU give its unconditional support to these lawless Murder Machines..?

This is a recent video of Ben Gurion Airport. You can see that Israel's Ben Gurion Airport is full of US KC-135 refueling aircraft. It clearly indicates that they are ready for the next round of attacks on Iran. Ceasefire gave them much-needed time for preparation.

Israeli soldiers posted photos of themselves picking food from gardens and cooking in the homes of Lebanese residents who fled Israel’s bombing. The same scenes played out decades earlier during the Nakba when Israel forced 750,000 Palestinians from their homes.

This day, I was among the first to return to my city, Beit Hanoun. I walked for dozens of kilometers on foot until I could no longer feel my feet from exhaustion. But the longing for home overcame the fatigue and extreme weariness. Whenever I felt tired, I would look ahead and see elderly men, bent over, their shoulders nearly touching the ground, They walk with slow steps, so heavy that you would almost be certain they might not survive the way, yet they move forward without hesitation or retreat, the love of home is more precious even than life itself. When I saw them, I forgot my own exhaustion and kept going. After nearly 10 hours of continuous walking, I arrived to find that the homes had been completely destroyed, there wasn’t a single house left standing. It was an unforgettable day, where exhaustion, hope, and pain all intertwined. A day that confirmed how deeply we love this land, so much that we crawl back to it even when it has turned to rubble. This is a day I will tell my children about, so they can tell it to their children, so our story is never forgotten. We are the survivors of a genocide.

NEVER FORGET TANTURA

Around the world and in 1967-occupied Palestine, Nakba Day is marked on May 15, the Gregorian date of Israel's so-called "Declaration of Independence". However, in 1948-occupied Palestine, the Nakba is commemorated on Israel's "Independence Day", held according to the Jewish date. The reason for that is quite revealing: Until 1966, Palestinian citizens of Israel lived under martial law, similar to the regime implemented in the West Bank and Gaza after 1967. Their freedom of movement was severely restricted, requiring permits from their local military governor for nearly all activities - employment, medical visits, attending events, and more. Ironically, the only time of year when they were granted free movement was on Israel's "Independence Day." A tradition thus emerged: internally displaced Palestinians used the occasion to visit the sites of their former villages. Some of these villages had already been erased, others were converted into JNF parks and picnic sites, and a few remained mostly intact - until later destroyed to deter hopes of return. The tradition persisted even after martial law in 48-Palestine was lifted, and it lasts to this day. Unlike what Zionists hoped, the internally displaced (and of course the refugees) never forgot about their original homes and never abandoned their dream of return. One day, hopefully soon, they will be able to return, once Palestine is liberated and de-Zionized 🙏🗝️🇵🇸 In the photo: Maqam al-Sheikh Abdul Rahman al-Bujeirmi in the uprooted and destroyed village of Tantura, near Haifa, now located in the middle of the Dor settlement's holiday village, built on the ruins of Tantura.
