Yes, they delayed it a lot, maybe to push more Galaxy S26 sales. I've never seen Apple or Google delay a major update for months just to keep it exclusive to a new device launch. But still, credit where it's due, they've improved a LOT this time. The Exynos 2600 is still not as good as the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. But there were some people saying that Exynos will dethrone Snapdragon easily with their 2nm* process.
