Update I: As stated during the launch of our Primary Healthcare Support Initiative where we distributed Insurance Cards to financially vulnerable citizens. I am pleased to announce that we will be distributing medical supplies and 1,500 syringes to the Primary Health Care Centre in Unguwar Sarki Ward. The syringes were supplied by an innovative and indigenous called Medical Plastics Limited. Gratitude to my friend Amir Baba Kusa. I will be setting up an ad hoc committee to deliver these items and ensure the residents of the community benefit from them at no cost.
This intervention is a modest but important step towards supporting our frontline healthcare workers and improving access to basic medical consumables within our communities.
I also wish to sincerely appreciate our partners, D8-HSP, for generously constructing an additional block at the PHC in Unguwar Sarki. This was done in my first year in office, including a solar installation. Their support and commitment to strengthening community healthcare infrastructure is deeply commendable.
The local traditional leader(Dagacin Unguwar Sark) had graciously suggested naming the new block after me. However, I respectfully appealed that it instead be named in honour of the Late Hajiya Fatima Sani One Minute, who served diligently as my Senior Counsellor and sadly passed away a few months ago. In any case, I personally believe places should be named after a leader when he leaves office and not when he is still not on the seat. It is only fitting that her memory lives on in the very community she served and loved dearly, especially as she resided close to the Unguwar Sarki PHC. May Allah forgive her shortcomings, grant her Aljannatul Firdaus, and continue to bless all those working quietly to uplift our people.
I will be attaching the list of medicines requested by the management of the PHC in Unguwar Sarki in line with our transparency initiative. The ad hoc members are listed below.
Supervisor: Isiya Aliyu Kabala
Chairman: Najib Wali, @NWali_X, my Chief Constituency Officer.
1.Mustapha Sani One Minute.
2. Abu Batagarawa Ne.
3. Haruna Naibi.
4. Zuwaira Musa.
5. Hadiza Idi, ADC Woman Leader, Unguwar Sarki Ward.

I went to check a car I bought online from a car dealer in a village in the Netherlands. When I went there, they gave me a cup of coffee and a key and told me to find the car I bought. There were over 500 cars and while looking for the car, I found 3 other cars I now want to buy. Apparently, this was a business strategy. 😭

Press Release: Our father, Mallam Nasir @elrufai, is still being held by the ICPC. Today, 15 May 2026, we witnessed two distinct yet equally serious attacks on his basic rights. First, his personal Doctor visited the ICPC at about 3pm to discuss the results of medical tests recently conducted on our father. Officials at the agency blocked the doctor from seeing him, claiming that written permission from the ICPC Chairman was required. This directly flouts a clear court order granting Mallam Nasir El‑Rufai unrestricted access to his doctors.
Second, his wife, Aunty Aichatou, brought his evening meal at around 7pm as she normally does. ICPC personnel turned her away, saying they had orders not to permit food deliveries after 6:30pm. This arbitrary rule is no less offensive than blocking his right to medical care.
These acts are an outright assault on the rule of law and a clear violation of our father's constitutional and human rights. No lawful detention justifies denying medical access or refusing basic family care based on an arbitrary curfew fixed by the ICPC. Shame on them as an institution.
We demand that all his constitutional rights be fully respected. We will no longer accept this pattern of intimidation dressed up as protocol. The ICPC must abide by the very laws it claims to enforce.
