@Jonesy779487 Anything is possible with oil and gas frontier drilling. That said with the rig retained it should be months rather than years to prove or disprove the basin

$IVZ delays are a frustration and added expense however they have proven a hydrocarbon system. My gut feel is that this delays rather than negates a formal discovery. A few perhaps throwing out the baby with the bathwater

$IVZ should in theory be at or very near TD. Would expect an update today or tomorrow

Had a rare read of Hot Copper comments today re $IVZ. Lot's of debate on IF they may encounter condensate or light oil. Would suggest reading up on fluorescence. Short version is fluorescence = aromatic hydrocarbons Aromatics indicate liquids

$IVZ decent action today. By my calculations they are currently drilling through the 3070m zone where the first gas reads were encountered. With lighter mud these gas zones should deliver higher gas shows, possibly kicks.

Giving some further thought to the $IVZ results to date. While no discover has of can be announced as yet it's also quite clear it's not a duster therefore I think scale is going to be key.

@stockleinc Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe Scott mentioned that they drilled with an initial over-balance of 1700PSI and would run about 100PSI over during the side track? With heavy mud the formation pores are blocked as you drill, with a slight overbalance the results will be clear

@stockleinc Having HC's is a big derisk point but they need to be movable. Surface porosity and permeability data suggests they should move. Drilling with lower mud weight will allow better liberation during drilling, this is especially true for any heavier HC's.

Elevated mud gas peaks (up to 135 times above background gas baseline while drilling through a depth of 3,171 mMD) have been observed with marked increases from C1 to C5 compounds (methane, ethane, propane, butanes and pentanes)

$IVZ yesterday the market were spooked that bad info had leaked. Today I guess good info has leaked? My suggestion would be that the IVZ management team are first class and there will be no leaks at all.

$IVZ Tomorrow will be 5 days from this announcement. Expecting to see an announcement before the weekend. If a TCF type discovery is confirmed then my guess is this has a long way to travel
