imo some of the best eustace fans are the ones who are also kind of insane about excelsius. like if you're headcanoning what brand of cigarettes excelsius smokes your takes on eustace are going to be next level even if i dont agree with them. i think excelsius smokes camels btw

i do go back and forth on it a lot but i think ultimately because camels are the "cool kid" brand then i think it fits well with the rest of excelsius' general rock and roll/rebellious aesthetic. i do wonder if theyd be too recent for him (he seems to stick with 70s~ aesthetics)-
