“In one year, @xAI has become the second largest taxpayer in the city and county after FedEx,” said Bill Dunavant III, a Memphis businessman who sits on the board of directors of the city’s chamber of commerce. The company has also donated funds to Memphis schools and other organizations and hired workers to go around the city and pick up trash. "Finishing Colossus 2 will cost tens of billions of dollars, some AI and data center experts say. The Nvidia chips alone cost a fortune: Musk will need to spend at least $18 billion for the roughly 300,000 more chips he needs to complete the Memphis project. Musk said in July that Colossus 2 will have a total of 550,000 chips and has separately signaled it could eventually have a million processing units." The speed at which xAI is doing all of this is incredible.

BREAKING: For the first time ever, the @Tesla Model Y was officially the best-selling car overall in the world in 2023, with 1.23 million units sold. This is the first time an EV took the #1 spot in global sales. What's crazy is that Model Y production started only 4 years ago. Note: While others have already claimed the Model Y was the best-selling car in the world in 2023, tonight we received Toyota's official 2023 sales data to support the claim, which is why I waited to report the news until now.

@shawngorham We have a Samsung frame and love it. However, better than the Samsung art, I’ve hooked up an Apple TV and have a slideshow running of family photos cropped to the TVs aspect ratio. It’s amazing.

@elonmusk @elonmusk when playing video, and having to close the app before finishing, it would be nice to have a continue watching or recently watched tab/area to easily get back to. Also, skip back/ahead controls like 20 sec would be nice.
