Everything crossed for Top Of The Bill. He had a fabulous spin round until the second last. Poor Quai de Bourbon got a right kicking early on and looked very sore getting up, so glad to hear he has walked into a horse ambulance.

Only my opinion but think it’s harsh to berate Paul Townend for not pulling Gold Dancer up, he’s visually ran to the line fine, I’m sure if he’d felt the horse had already gone wrong he would have pulled him up In fact I’m sure he would have

That’s horrendous riding by Townend. Surely he should be able to feel that the horse is in discomfort after the last and should be pulling up. Hope Gold Dancer is okay, Stewards hopefully get involved.

I will always defend horse racing but that incident with gold dancer is not easy to defend

Big chunk of money lost for Mullins there by the fall of Kiss Will, he’ll still pick up Elliot and win the title but that would have made things a lot handier. . The Elliot horses are overall in poor form

I’m usually very steady in this game but this one hurts. Saint Sam has been one of my favourite horses for years & one of my Cheltenham highlights was getting to see him each year. I always put him back on the lorry to go home & it became a little tradition. Just gutted❤️🤍🖤
