Great writeup of the recent focus groups we did of younger women. So many shared tough stories. It's not just about the price of gas or eggs. Many simply did not have the support they need to manage through a job loss, death in the family, or divorce.

It's not just young men — young women are struggling too. I sat in on two @NavigatorSurvey focus groups of young women in battleground states who said they're pessimistic about the direction of the US and unhappy with the state of the economy (link in reply)

"Their reaction to ICE’s activities was almost uniformly negative, with many saying that although they supported removing criminals or drug cartel members, the enforcement actions were too often targeting innocent workers. 'He’s created his own Gestapo,' said another man. 'He’s going after Hispanics now, but when he gets done with Hispanics, you know who’s next.'"

it's not just immigration enforcement though. over and over again, they brought up his increased involvement in foreign affairs as a negative, thinking he broke his promises to stay out of war.

ICE raids have played a huge role in that their views. Generally, they think he's unfairly targeting the Latino community “You’re not just deporting people and ripping families apart, you are also creating an environment of hatred and feeding racism" notus.org/2026-election/…
