@DeltyThe73rd My favourites are Yareli, Protea, Valkyr and Titania; of those the only ways I find myself limited is in maps with a lot of movement where Protea's buildables are often left behind, and maps where you have to carry something which Titania can't while she's an archwing

@Halpy_ @NGreentail As far as I can tell it's "draw on top of the art over and over in slightly different shades of the same colour until it magically forms realistic lighting"

@NGreentail i’ve been trying to figure out what “render” means for 10 years and no tutorial can explain it 😭

@streetsofrogue Hm. That's concerning to me but I'll give it a fair go and see. Thanks for the reply~

@moltare yeah, so the approach is a little bit different from SoR1, the idea is to slow it down a bit compared to the more rapid pace of the original

@M_A_Larson Might be going a bit far though - the stump is clearly inferior but it's still more muffin...

I'm so damn tired.
I've been posting AI stuff every single day for over two years now without stopping, and this is the first time I’ve felt like this.
Lemme explain.
I put in hours and hours making my content. Trying out new workflows that actually help people. For free. I think hard about what I wanna say and how to say it in a way that makes sense. And honestly, I love doing it. Like, really love it.
And the support I get from you guys, in DMs, in comments, in public shoutouts... that means the world to me. The stories where I’ve helped someone out without even realizing it. The posts where you mention me after something I made gave you an idea or inspired you. That’s the stuff that keeps me going. That’s what makes this whole AI community feel worth it.
I also get hit with a ton of hate from the anti-AI crowd. Way more than you’d think. I’m used to it at this point. Doesn’t bother me much. Part of the deal, I guess.
But, what does get to me though is seeing people who’ve been following me for ages, people who call themselves AI educators, just flat-out copying my stuff. Like not even trying to hide it. Dude, they even copy the emojis.
You really can’t come up with your own ideas? This isn’t about being a genius. It’s about putting in the work. And if something I made inspired you, the least you could do is drop a quick comment. Just say something. And I’m not talking about small accounts either. I’m talking about people with over 20k followers who just take my threads, run them through ChatGPT, change a few words, and post it like it’s theirs.
I’ve always been the kind of person who helps out anyone who asks. You know that. If you’ve ever needed help, I’ve always tried to be there. But lately I’ve been thinking maybe I should just stop sharing so much. Maybe I’ve been too generous. I’m starting to feel like a damn fool.
Anyway. I just needed to get this off my chest. And if you’re one of the people out there putting in zero effort while churning out cheap copies of my posts, I hope this makes your face go a little red. Not that I think it will. Pretty sure shame’s not really your thing.
