It just occured to me that now that I have 3 children, I'm on my way towards fulfilling my dream of becoming Linda Belcher.

@TwinzerDad I was just thinking this the other day. I kept having to rewind and pause and it was driving me crazy. Can't remember what I was watching now. Old people problems. 😉

If you’re going to make the contents of a text message integral to the plot of a TV show or movie you’re going to need to make it a little bigger and leave it on the screen a little longer. - Folks 35+

@mamainottawa Oh my gosh I love this! I've been eyeing up beds like this lately (for the future, not any time soon) and this just makes me more excited about them.

One of my two years old's has this new little habit where she likes to do bad things (bad being a relative term of course) only to immediately stop when told to, and then get praise for stopping when she was told. These kids are too damn smart.

@TheFoxMatriarch But I also agree with you, I don't see it being invasive or weird if you have nothing to hide. BUT on the other side of the coin I don't exactly want access to know where he is all of the time. I don't need to know that he went out for lunch, and where, etc.

@TheFoxMatriarch Which is understandable if he doesn't because he's at WORK obviously, but my paranoid brain tends to spiral. If I could just easily confirm he made it to work, I'd worry less.

Always thought this was a little strange, my husband *went off* about how weird it was then he was cheating on me the whole time, so like idk not as strange as I thought, not because I need it to trust somebody but because I don't feel like you'd care if you aren't hiding things.

@ambercarny I just know it was the OR, nothing else. And that's just the most recent time. I have absolutely no clue about the first time.

Do you remember the hospital room number you gave birth in?

I reminded my husband the other night that we need to get snow pants for the twins so they can play in the snow this year and he immediately started shopping for snow pants not only for them but also for himself so can get in the snow with them. This man. ❤️

@dinahaddie I lived in Ontario from grade 2 to grade 7 and I have fond and also horrified memories of that damn bagged milk. My grandma would freeze it & then sometimes when pouring the milk, ice chunks would pour out and I still remember being convinced the milk itself was chunky and bad.

I’ve lived in Ontario Canada for a total of 43 years and I have something to say. I’m not interested in debating the issue, but I believe it’s time to say the quiet part out loud. You ready? Listen up. The fact that our milk is sold in bags is stupid.

@mamainottawa We switched to pull ups almost as soon as the twins started walking. Wayyyy easier when two busy little people refuse to sit/lay still for bum changes. I don't find much difference when it comes to how much they hold, honestly. They're just way more convenient to change.

My new favourite thing that the twins started doing recently: Saying 'thank you!' and then blowing kisses every time I hand them something. Oh my heart. 🥰

I keep changing my mind about what to dress the twins up as for Halloween this year, but I think I've finally landed on an idea that I love. I'm not going to say what it is because I'll probably just change my mind again. 😂 Why am I so indecisive???

Well last night I dreamt I had a baby boy and today now feels...wrong. It's a bizarre feeling, and I hate it. Worth noting, I don't really want any more kids...not exactly. But it's still a very uncomfortable cloud hanging over my mind at the moment.

When I was going through years of infertility, I'd often have these very vivid dreams that I had a baby. They were so clear and real feeling that I'd wake up confused about why the baby wasn't here, and that unsettled "something is missing" feeling would last the entire day.

Oh wait no I was wrong, it's not 10 shows in Ontario it's more like 16 because I didn't notice there's multiple shows on some days.

Saw that the Wiggles were doing a Canada/US tour this fall so I went to look up the dates and locations. The Canadian portion is basically just 10 different shows around Ontario, plus a handful of others scattered around Eastern Canada.

We decided that going forward we're going to go out for 1 lunch and 1 dinner every month, just us. The littles can stay home with their dad and me and my firstborn can spend some quality time without toddler terrors (🥰) distracting us.

Took my 16yo out for sushi lunch and then to get bubble tea this weekend, just the two of us. With all the chaos of life lately, and being so busy chasing the twins around and keeping them busy and out of trouble, I don't get to give my oldest as much 1:1 time anymore.
