@momsatwork I keep saying how strong these new mamas are. I had my baby two years ago and I was nervous the whole time. I don’t know how I would handle it during these crazy time. You’re amazing!

Ever heard of a hair tourniquet? Me either — until it landed us in the pediatric emergency room Friday night. It all started with a tiny piece of hair, my hair, wrapped around two of Grace’s 4-month-old toes. 😭 Read about our first ER trip 👇 orlandosentinel.com/features/moms-…

@momsatwork Not the ER but urgent care. Oldest went bc he stuck a white bean in his ear when he was 2... they had to flush it out with water.

What is the strangest/craziest reason you've had to bring your child to the ER?? We had our first visit last weekend, and it was a weird one... I wrote all about it in this week's Life with Grace, dropping later today.

@cblahnik Oh no! The nickel must have be scary. I got nurses elbow all the time when I was around that age (though I just learned the name for it). So bad it would happen even if the dog brushed up against my arm. The hospital eventually just taught my mom how to pop it back in. 😑

@momsatwork My 4 year old ate a nickel :( Four weeks later she got “nurses elbow” when someone pulled her arm as she went down the slide. They sent in a social worker to question us after the second visit 🤦‍♀️

@momsatwork The Instagram @parentselfcare has some wonderful mental health tips and supportive messages that have really helped as I both navigate being a parent in a pandemic and also work as a parent support & EI for other parents!
