Hey guys, just for the sake of transparency, our dad had a long talk with us and asked that we take down anything related to politics. Even though he’s a registered Republican, he’s seen over many years how extremists on both the alt-right and alt-left can use violence and intimidation as tactics.
We respect his perspective and trust him completely, so we’re going to step back from engaging in that space….even though what we did was meant as satire.
People can keep posting edited, out-of-context clips from a two-hour comedy show. And yes, it would be very easy for me to clip together some truly vulgar things she’s said about other creators, but we’re not going to engage anymore.
I’m confident that our friends know us well enough to understand we were defending King Charles, and we’ll leave it at that.
