24/25 destroyed my life. the pain i endured supporting City that season was unlike anything else. it broke something in me i didn’t think could be broken. 25/26 gave me hope. gave me light. gave me life again. built me back up brick by brick. it was never straightforward (the ups and the downs, the moments of pure joy followed swiftly by heartbreak) but it gave me a Carabao Cup. it gave me nights i will never forget. moments that reminded me exactly why i fell in love with this football club in the first place. and then only to lose the Premier League title with four games remaining. four games. the cruelty of it is something only a football fan could ever truly understand. you give everything. every emotion. every prayer. every sleepless night. and the game takes it back without a single apology. but i’m still here. still standing. win or don’t win the FA Cup, the signs of success in the upcoming seasons are clearly there for anyone with eyes to see. this club is rebuilding. this club is rising. and i will be right here when it does. i’m grateful for the ride this season. truly, genuinely, deeply grateful. through every high and every low, i wouldn’t trade it for anything.
