@JamesEnglish71 Terrible coordination from the police department to not be ready to arrest the guy as soon as the money was exchanged. Literally put themselves in that situation and her in danger.
'I absolutely loved playing for Oxford'
"People talk about loans and just being a loanee, but I didn't feel like that,"
"I felt like a signing and I felt like I was there (permanently), I made such good relationships with all the contracted players, the physios, everyone at the club, so when everyone's so good to me I couldn't not give my absolute all.
"Every single game I played I wanted to give back, the fans were so good to me, and I absolutely loved playing in front of them.
"When you have that vibe, there was nothing else in my mind other than Oxford and helping that club stay up, nothing else."
"The end of the season has just come but I'm sure a conversation will be had," he added.
"I'll do whatever I get told to do and all I can focus on are the things I can control like training hard and focusing on next season now.
"It's been a long slog this year and it's been tough, the body is a bit tired so now it's just about recovering and looking forward."
- Will Lankshear, BBC Radio Oxford.

@matthayesthfc A player sending a ‘come and get me plea’ when he wants a transfer is one of those weird phrases that’s standard in football journo speak but would never be used in any other context.
Hello Twitter.
I need phrases/sayings/exclamation etc... that football fans use regularly that would make no sense to people who aren't fans of the game.
"Good feet" / "good hands"
And other examples I can't think of. Hence my request for help.
I hate Chat GPT so much that I will stop reading a long post when I realize it’s AI generated. Even if the story itself is authentic, I hate the voice and style of Chat GPT so much.
@BionicDance@zellieimani The internet is now infested with AI scented ‘wisdom’ and most of it you can see a mile off.
You’re saying style is irrelevant, I disagree. It’s a pattern recognition way of seeing authenticity and originality. When you see the hallmarks of AI it’s fair to lose trust.
@mondestereo@zellieimani I think you can't.
And if you reject what someone has written because you think it's style is too computer-y, rather than on the basis of its content, you're basically engaging in prejudice. 🤷♀️
@zellieimani Except I've been accused of copy-pasting ChatGPT when it was all me, 100%.
(I've also been accused of not being American because I properly used a semicolon.)
So, no...you can't bloody tell when it's AI generated, dude. Stop being so prejudicial.
De Zerbi's immediate benching of Gray, Sarr and Bergvall is what will likely save this club from relegation.
Incredible that neither Ange, Frank nor Tudor was able to figure this out 🙄
@mondestereo@1Cee__@mario530798921@ItchXStitch@humphriezz No one is “unhinged” for voting for anyone. And for the record. If you read my post you would have read… I didn’t vote for them 🙂 it’s called adulthood, accepting others vote and opinions 😁
@HustleSilently@Z_PearsonTHFC It was absolutely not best for his confidence to sub him after one howler and one slip that also led to a goal. It was a pathetically poor piece of man management, threw him under the bus and had everyone saying it was the end of him. Tudor 🤡
@marcojasp@MIGHTYSPURZ It was fucking pathetic to sub him after one mistake (the slip could have happened to anyone and was not his fault). The lad has done brilliantly to come back from that.
@MIGHTYSPURZ Kinsky💯
Wanted him in a long time ago & it was very contrived by Tudor to randomly dump him into the game Vs Madrid away on a notoriously horrific pitch then to drag him off after 20mins🤦♂️staggeringly poor man management it really was
Credit to Kinsky&RDZ for his recovery though
@jonsmith_lufc@Talking_spurss Spurs have won the last 2 and conceded an injury time equaliser at the end of an excellent performance against Brighton. Good luck
@1Cee__@Reality_Tea1@mario530798921@ItchXStitch@humphriezz You’re unhinged if you voted Reform on immigration. Starmer has reduced those numbers significantly and you’re voting for the people who caused the problem. But you just won’t hear it will you?
@Reality_Tea1@mario530798921@ItchXStitch@humphriezz Don’t try and communicate with the left, they’re unhinged. They talk about fascism etc like it’s going out of fashion, but are the most anti democratic crowd I’ve seen
@AlaTaiwanStair@MurrayHillGuy1 She is in the wrong. The way she says his joke ‘didn’t land well’ like he’s responsible for her emotions and she has no control over them tells me he dodged a bullet.
@MurrayHillGuy1 No one's clearly in the wrong here.
Woman fail: No banter or humor. It's a boring pass.
Man fail: Curt refusal to talk indicates he's probably a fuckboy. Maybe the chick isn't wrong. She is at least polite.
@Richard12158891@dukey2404@Lilywhite_Rose@GeorgeSessions Exactly it’s an excellent effort in a team that was struggling, and for a young player it suggests he’s got a bit about him and didn’t go missing during a tough season.
@dukey2404@Lilywhite_Rose@GeorgeSessions Oxford fan here. Yes, he has. We loved him. Fantastic player. 12 Championship goals for a team that generally had 30% possession and created very few chances. He'll play PL. Donley probably won't- looks more like a decent Championship player.
#thfc Premier League clubs are ready to move if Tottenham decide to let Will Lankshear leave this summer but there is optimism about his prospects under Roberto De Zerbi.
