In the midst of processing deep hurt, we can turn to truths that anchor us to the reality of who God is. Truths like: God is right here with me in the midst of my trouble, I am not alone: “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1

Trying to fill our aching hearts with the things of this world is like trying to fill an ocean with a tablespoon. Instead of chasing after things that will never satisfy, let's ask Jesus to help us catch the tender drops of His mercy & to fully embrace His love.

Whatever attitude we bring into a situation will be multiplied. Let’s bring an attitude worth being multiplied into this day. An attitude of hope. An attitude of love. An attitude of humility and gratitude. An attitude of joy.

God, help us to stop trying to fix, control, and achieve what You want us to slow down enough to receive. We don't have to kick it into high gear. We don't need to wear our bodies ragged and our emotions into a tangled fray. You have the answer. You are the solution.

We serve a God who allows hurt. But we also serve a God who uses hurt for good. Take heart, sweet friend. Your tears will not be wasted.

Our decisions aren’t just isolated choices. Our decisions point our lives in the directions we’re about to head. Show me a decision & I’ll show you a direction. We’ve got to get good at chasing down our decisions. See where they'll take us. Make sure that’s where we want to go.

Jesus loves us. He is for us. And we can trust Him with all of our heart. Simple truths that can have a profound impact on our lives if we will let our hearts believe them.

God isn't going to waste one bit of your hurt and hardship. Trust the process. Hold fast to God's ways. Hang on. Redemption is coming.

All of those seemingly impossible circumstances begging us to hand over our peace and give in to panic? God can handle all of the things we know we can’t. He is our possible in the midst of what can sometimes feel so impossible. And we can place our hope in Him.
