@monkeystripes @allyouhoesmad_ in her own country ghanaians were saying she would be referred to as “half-caste.” in europe the distinction between mixed vs black is wayyy more prominent than in the US.

So if Lara wearing her bindi = her embracing her culture proudly. what does Manon wearing her waist beads and braids = ? since yall swear down she doesn’t embrace her black side. 🧐

@fagwolverine @allyouhoesmad_ DNA is DNA. Socially she would be viewed as a black woman. There are black people here that look just like her, the same cannot be said about white people and even then majority here would consider and treat her as black first. Ya’ll being willfully obtuse and it’s very weird.

@heyyitsjanea In my experience as a Kenyan born and raised in the US it definitely goes both ways. It’s crazy because I see us all as family. My husband is black from NC and his mom and I talk about this a lot. Megan is top tier though so I don’t know what she’s talking about.

@blkgirllostkeys Lol too late. I try to time it so that my Concerta hits first but my lack of appetite hasn’t kicked in so I can eat. Lol sometimes I mess up the window or forget 😭 like today.

Toxic ADHD trait: When you’re super hungry but you know if you wait 15 minutes the Vyvanse will kick in and you can keep doing whatever you were doing with no pesky appetite 😂🤣😂🤣😂 Ps -please go eat

@KeyKodeine @IvyKungu if u mix some salt in some water and dip each piece in for a sec, it helps with the acidity and mellows out the flavor (plus a lil salt brings out the sweet!!)

Serious question, what’s the most *annoying* fruit. I say grapes bc even though they’re reliably delicious, there’s almost always a moldy one somewhere.
