it's really not that big of a deal for them to want the characters to be more culturally aligned. Being upset because the white people can no longer play ethnic character says more about you than it does about their direction. are we also forgetting that they were kids in the original show and now they're all grown up?

I wanted to be excited for the Avatar movie, but my hype got completely extinguished remembering they forced the entire VA cast out for "diversity reasons". It's insane to me that actors aren't allowed to portray characters & fictional worlds are bound to real world race/ethnicity.
