I just went to get an IUD consultation at a gynecologist and she goes, we can do it here, but just so you know, we don't numb. We won't numb your cervix here. And I go, why? And she goes, because the doctor at this clinic doesn't allow it. And I said who is that doctor? She pointed towards a male gynaecologist & said “dear even if I request it, he won't allow it”. And then i asked that male gynaecologist why he won't allow it, he told me because apparently, according to him, that's actually not even where the pain's coming from. So it doesn't even make sense to numb the cervix. i said its painful and he replied “its a part of being a woman”

Can someone explain why it’s legal to do 3% increase on rent each year, when our pay is not going up 3% each year? Like I’m literally being priced out of my apartment where I live where am I supposed to go?

@bchydro One outage says crews on their way and the other says crews assigned. But they are looking like the same outage with overlap? Can you explain?

@bchydro @geminisjcm @burlivespipe This is not ok. We were all without heat overnight, my place was finally warming up and now it’s going to be freezing again. Plus all my food! This is not a way to handle things. This should be prioritized right now.

@bchydro Still no Power , I’ve been using an external battery 🔋 for the Fridge/Freezer but it’s now empty …🪫 I hate waste so hopefully it’s back up soon 😪that’s at least 7 hours without power now .. Its eerily dark 👻
