i will keep gassing up this series for as long as i live.

I am slow at drawing because I lack fundamentals. I try to learn things when I need them for my actual illustrations, spending too much time fixing parts I haven't completely understand (e.g. faces, folds). It's more guessing than knowing.

i dont know if any artists have this problem. but when im drawing, every time i genuinely think its a downgrade from my previous work and i think it has the ugliest colors/my style is boring/it looks too messy. and then ill go back to it like weeks later and im like DAMNNN??

do you guys ever obsess over a character so hard that you start thinking about drawing them instead of actually drawing them

I've noticed I become really obsessed with the idea of a character rather than the character themselves

This weird feeling when you draw and you consistently question if you will ever finish it because you don't like it but you hope it gets better at some point. These are the pieces I drop when they are 90% done.

they don't tell you that like 50% of hours spent in making art is just you staring at what you just did and wondering if it's wack or not cos you lose all sensibility while lost in the sauce
