I don't know why we would need to dwell on this, it's treated as a joke in the scene because we don't need to know any more than what Ralsei explains. Those who are paying attention already know that we as the player are interacting with the characters through the UI

saw an undertale yellow fan say "oh yeah? well undertale is poorly written too, it's old" and it finally clicked that nobody knows what "poorly written" means. it's just another "aura" type buzzword now

Unrelated but even before ch 5 dropped how did every fan design ever know they were black. Like istg i never saw a blue soul fan design being white

@Amelie1262556 Ivy was a character I found annoying at the beginning and then loved at the end. To the point where I’m genuinely mad she doesn’t get to host some sort of aftermath with the eliminated contestants

The fact she felt the need to include “or girlfriend” in there is just more proof I have to way it’s impossible to hate Ivy (and that’s she’s closet bisexual…)

The fact that u can go out of outbounds really goes to show that the egg rooms are places we're not supposed to be in.

Streets sayin again Undertale Yellow is bad written (it has it flaws but calling it bad written is a stretch) but god forbid you say UT (2015 game and first toby fox game) is bad written and didnt age well cuz they have u crucified (no toby fox criticism allowed)
