@obsessf1on I think Landos radio chats are sophistcated and planned with many codes and scenarios. Could of been a code word said to trigger Lando to say he wants to pit when knowing he'd get denied so it looks like a favour to Oscar to then get the traffic. Or maybe I'm overthrowing it 🤔

1. his gearbox loss was because of him taking the kerbs too deeply hence why the pitwall was asking lando to slow down and not take the kerbs
2. staying in dirty air doesn't affect the gearbox it affects the pu and brake temp. also lando stayed in dirty air much longer than him

quick lesson: the piastri dnf of sudden gearbox loss might be due to strategic delay which put him in dirty air behind those back markers, where high temperatures and mechanical stress cooked the hydraulic/transmission setup until the gearbox finally gave up. it also could be because micro-timing error in the electronic shift cut, structural flexing under cornering, or repeated curb impacts while pushing in traffic. bye i need to vent my anger first.
