@moonpig@greateranglia You’re absolutely right. I was on the train too and the driver was very clear in his announcements that he had a faulty door he couldn’t fix. No mention of the communication cord. Sounds like a case of try and blame the customers for our faulty trains from @greateranglia

@greateranglia is it possible to make all train doors open automatically where possible so as we don't need to press button to open them? Maybe a bit over the top but every little helps.
@moonpig Morning Leigh, no it should still be ticket gates and ticket machines, may be an issue with the ticket gate itself. What station is this at please? GA
@greateranglia do smartcards now need to be activated at ticket machine? Wouldn't work at gate and lady told me to use machine. That did work and there are no queues today but will be annoying when queues are out the door
Ah, and it's the legendary carriage with a massive disabled toilet AND first class meaning there are maybe 20 seats. Great design right there @greateranglia. Even then couldn't squeeze on

Honestly don't know what's causing the problem at Paris @Eurostar. Queues everywhere but French passport control 20 seconds, UK normal biometric time, only two x-ray machines working but waved through. All that equals three hours from start off queue to sitting down
