my hack for spam calls is that my area code is from my small hometown and all my spam calls have that area code. since I haven’t lived there in over a decade, I know no one calling me with that area code has any real business calling me unless I have their number saved

My son did this in 8th grade. I didn’t get the poster. Sometimes you gotta let your child deal with consequences and learn lessons from failure. Especially when it’s in a controlled situation like this, where the consequences seem dire to them, but aren’t fatal or truly harmful.

@vvictorman_uel If it’s a teen with a learners permit, they can drive themselves and parent accompanies but any younger the child is at the will of the parent and just bc the parent doesn’t want to try doesn’t meant the child doesn’t, but they can’t drive themselves to the store

@vvictorman_uel If the store is closed and there’s no way to fix it, I think it’s fine but if its just a trip to the store I don’t see how *only* driving them to the store to get the poster and letting them figure out the rest is different and still lets them figure out consequences
