Official Response from the MoonRush Team We want to clarify several misunderstandings regarding the Zealy campaign mentioned above. -Rewards were always tied to the public launch From the beginning, the Zealy rewards were designed to be distributed after the public release of the MoonRush app, as the campaign was meant to onboard early testers and bootstrap the community ahead of launch. This structure is standard for early-stage Web3 product testing campaigns. - App Store approval is outside of our control MoonRush is currently going through the Apple App Store review process. Like many crypto-related apps, this process can require multiple submissions and compliance checks. This is a normal part of launching a regulated mobile product and not something the team can accelerate unilaterally. - No deposits were required for Zealy participation Participation in the Zealy campaign did not require any payment. Testers who chose to trade or interact with the beta environment did so voluntarily to explore the product. MoonRush did not collect funds for Zealy rewards. - Rewards will be distributed once the app is publicly live All eligible Zealy rewards will be distributed after the official launch of the app, as originally intended. This ensures: fair verification of participants prevention of bot activity proper integration with the Moon Points system inside the app - We appreciate early supporters We are grateful to everyone who helped test the beta and provided feedback. Early testers are an important part of building MoonRush, and their contributions are recognized. However, spreading accusations of fraud while the product is still going through the App Store approval process is misleading and harmful to the community. We remain committed to launching MoonRush and distributing rewards according to the campaign rules. — MoonRush Team

On February 16, the team behind @moonrush_space announced that @zealy_io participants would receive rewards ranging from $300–$1000 for their active participation. However, what they failed to make clear at the beginning was that these rewards would supposedly only be paid after their app gets launched on the Apple Store. Later, the payment timeline was also changed to March 1st, which already raised concerns. According to one of their admins, the team has submitted their app build twice, meaning the first submission was rejected by Apple, and they had to resubmit another build. While delays can happen, this still does not justify refusing to compensate the people who contributed their time and effort. One of the testers I know personally spent $64 while testing their beta version, yet the team is now refusing to pay Zealy participants and even telling people to “do their worst.” How can a project that claims to have a long-term vision treat its early supporters like this? This situation raises a major red flag. If a project cannot respect the people who helped them in the early stages, it sends a clear message about how they might treat users if problems occur on their platform in the future. It gets worse. Some testers spent an entire week testing the app, creating posts, and completing tasks, yet they still have not been compensated. Meanwhile, the team is still talking about “Moon points” to be shared among the top 40 when the app launches, even though the launch date itself remains uncertain. If the Moon Rush team truly cares about their reputation and their community, the right thing to do is simple: Pay the Zealy participants who helped build your early traction. And to Zealy as a platform, situations like this highlight why better accountability for projects is necessary. The Web3 space has seen too many projects taking advantage of community contributors without consequences. It’s time we start calling out these practices so that projects understand that community members are not disposable.
