When I was looking for an artist to create The Parallax Genesis 2 years ago, I wanted an authentic anime feel, so I emailed about 100 artists from Twitter.
Only one person agreed to work on the PFP because the rest had a stigma that NFTs were a scam.
Fast forward to today, and many significant studios (independent and corporate) are open to working on NFTs as long as money is involved.
Slowly but surely, the narrative around NFT will shift into the mainstream.
P.S. check out @MoonZeroHQ to see what's next. Big news coming tomorrow.

I had a conversation with an executive of one of the largest gaming companies in South Korea and he asked me if “crypto gaming was sustainable.”
I told him straight up, “No”.
We had a nice conversation, but when I went back to my hotel, I came to the realization that Web2 gaming isn’t sustainable either.
You see, with Web2 games, companies are creating games and digital products like skins, battle basses, or even unique items. And all that money goes directly into the company’s pocket.
Web2 gaming is only seen as “sustainable” because companies treat their player base as consumers, and that disposable income is refreshed with every paycheck they get.
If you read research reports, they’ll say, “American families spend $431 per year.”
They didn’t say “invest”; they said “spend”.
So right now, Web3 games don’t offer enough value in entertainment for someone to spend and lose money. We all expect to make money but who’s going to be the sucker on the other side?
Perhaps we’re all just playing the metagame, and this is all one big game of poker with a gaming skin on top.
I want to know what you guys think. Is gaming ever going to sustainable or do we just have to accept this dark truth?

The biggest mistake a creative can make is following their heart ❤️…
It sounds counterproductive, but it’s common to see creatives be very egotistical about their work.
Almost as if they’re justifying why their work is so great.
I’ve been learning that the best work is often produced when combining creativity and data.
It’s important to see what’s working, what’s already making money, and what people want to see next.
You can get lucky occasionally and produce something with your heart that strikes a chord in the market.
Still, more often than not, the biggest IPs and gaming companies use straight data to determine their creative direction.
The best part is that the data is available for FREE online if you know WHERE and HOW to look.
Remember, there is no such thing as a new idea.
