@apewoodx incredibly tricky to reward this behaviour when the market is so optimised for neurotic ltf thinking

you should hope that people share their insights or views "why" they are bullish or bearish the Ls are when people are "perma" bullish or bearish without any logic to their own strategy (are they LTF focused? HTF focused? why are they bullish, what factors are they looking at? why are they bearish, what factors are they looking at?) if anyone has and shares views with rationale and data they are looking at that informs their bias, i think this is a win overall and we should be promoting more of this (even if its a bias you disagree with) your role is to come up with your own view, and confident in your research, that you understand the opposing view, and still feel confident in yours regardless
apewood@apewoodx

also people who get angry at those who have a different view are basically just doxxing themselves as not having a view bull or bear you have to understand the other side really well to have confidence in your own idea and bias if you dont understand nor even want to consider the bearish view if you're a bull, you're delusionally bullish and not playing the game if you dont understand nor even want to consider the bullish view if you're a bear and cope because you're sidelined, you're cope bearish and not playing the game the noise in the echo chamber will eat you alive before the market does if you dont have a view yourself

@apewoodx effective user acq strategy for traction but this method hasn't been tested over time yet i'd predict startups rely on this too much and forget about organics just exacerbates the classic my ad spend is my revenue model

most successful crypto products start off as kind of illegal from coinbase to circle to polymarket to uniswap to hyperliquid if nobody thinks the product is a little illegal, it's probably not that interesting this is only natural - crypto exists to skirt around incumbent power structures. if the product can succeed within those structures, then it doesn't belong onchain anyway obviously, building in good faith alongside counsel is necessary (fuck scammers), but respectfully, don't ask for permission to build something people want

I don’t expect anyone to read this, but maybe someone out there will. I'm 17 now. I started all this when I was 14. First it was flipping sneakers, then NFTs, then meme coins, then just full blown degen trading. Made some smart moves, caught a couple early pumps and before I knew it... I was sitting on just over $9 million. Didn’t really hit me at the time. I was still in high school, sitting in class, pretending to care about chemistry while secretly watching my trades on a second phone. Felt invincible. Everyone around me had no idea... I was literally making more in a day than most people make in a year. But I never cashed out properly. Ever. Told myself I’d wait until 8 figures, until it was “enough.” it’s never enough... I was tripping hard. Got into leverage. Started chasing risk like a high. “Just one more 20x long and I’ll cash out.” I was playing with size that would make grown men puke, $500k per trade like it was a demo account. Then came that one bad week. You know how this ends. Market dipped. I overleveraged. Got liquidated. Then revenge traded. I told myself I was gonna bounce back, like I always did. But I just kept bleeding. I lost over $7 million in 3 days. And the rest? That disappeared into pure delusion. Now? I’m sitting at basically zero. No one knew the full number but me. Not even my closest online friends. I pretended everything was fine, cracked jokes, said “I’m just hedging.” But every night I’d just stare at the ceiling thinking about how I fumbled what could’ve set me. I’m not here to beg. Not looking for a comeback arc. I don’t even know if I’ll ever touch a chart again. I even thought of taking my life away, would it be even worth it? Maybe. At one point, my port was life changing. Now it’s just a memory in my camera roll. - done, posted.

imo AI is moving at such a fast pace that *all* competitive moats are weak and assailable. it's an illusion. back teams who prove they can execute like hell. that's the only edge that lasts

@apewoodx A side effect of misaligned incentives. Exchanges listing coins with no tech was the first domino. Otherwise what differentiating thoughts are necessary when your sample set relies on scope of shill - which is limited by a lack of access to resources to push differentiation

Feel like at least in cycles past people had a shred of independent thought Over the past cycle, many just solely copy traded, “what’s the CA bro?”, “any runners?” their way through the entire cycle without developing one complete sentence over two years So the blind herd grew and thus the echoes and parroting of whatever they see grows (ie sentiment seeming as bad as it’s ever been)
Route 2 FI@Route2FI

Can't even remember CT being this bearish. Sentiment worse than the 2022 bear market.

this is a very good article across all fronts, but to specifically call out the IR point - think this is smart and immediately actionable for many projects builders complain about "vapor" dominating attention reality is the onus on yourself (the founder, the project, the team) to make people aware of what's happening and particularly, now, you have a pretty loose regulatory environment and administration share monthly or quarterly updates on user metrics, revenue growth, runway, key events on the horizon (no MNPI ofc) take it seriously and ensure they are well-organized, well-documented, easily accessible the more you look organized, put together, and on top of your shit, like you are excited about the direction your project / business is going (backed by data and vision), the more people will view you as on top of your shit and be excited about the direction of your business where we are going is all about PMF, user adoption, and revenue no more complaining about "vaporware" (vapor will always be around and bid up by non-discerning, indiscriminate allocators) your goal with IR is to attract & manage the type of holder base that will help define & shape the success of your project over a longer horizon these IR type of reports and functions are CRUCIAL (and candidly much more serving than BD functions we see thrown around this space)

As a builder you need to work so HARD that the disparity between PRICE and EXECUTION is so BIG that it can’t be IGNORED. Ignite the fire 🔥 builders this is your moment to do MORE.

btw, to the earnest builders out there who have been hiding, timid, under rocks and behind trees to avoid Sauron's Eye... it's safe now. That cool idea you had, on which you seek so readily to stake your capital and reputation because you believe in your bones that it deserves the pursuit... go make it happen. The environment is, to a substantial degree, safe again for that great impulse toward creation.

GCR said, Gorillions... - More tradeable pairs - Higher leverage - High affiliate rewards - All fees burnt or rewarded - No position limits - Deposit anything as collateral - Earliest listings

A very simple comparison showcases just one thing: $OX is immensely undervalued. - More tradeable pairs - Higher leverage - High affiliate rewards - All fees burnt or rewarded - No position limits - Deposit anything as collateral - Earliest listings Send it to billions with haste.
