@Reno_SportsFan @lt4kicks I’m not acting like a victim, I went to a different college and had a great experience lol 😂 but players get cut or “encouraged” to go somewhere else every year. That’s the reality of a 105 roster and high coaching turnover. The people who recruited you may not be your coaches.

@MooseB90 @lt4kicks Yeah it happened to about 100,000 college students last year who PAID, millions of dollars all told. Don’t act like a victim. Some in doctor’s schools pay up to $500,000 to become doctors but don’t succeed. Its life.

Can college coaches only transfer 1 time over a 5 year period without having to sit out a season?

I’m mainly referring to football, the average HC is at a school 4.1 years. Of course different conferences have different track records and I can break that down if you want. Shortest tenures: SEC, AAC, Conference USA (~3–4 years) •Longest tenures: MAC, Mountain West (~5–7 years) •Middle ground: Big Ten, ACC (~4–6 years) 👉 Overall, across all conferences, the national average still clusters around ~4 years, but: •High-pressure conferences = shorter leash •Lower-resource conferences = longer patience but higher turnover via promotions

@MooseB90 @lt4kicks Im talking about head coaches. Unless you are in the power 4 the assts get paid peanuts. Head coaches across college athletics do not leave every 3-5 years. Send me your factual data.

@MooseB90 @lt4kicks And for the record I am all about college athletes getting paid. I believe they should be able to transfer but not every single year.

@lt4kicks Coaches aren’t students receiving a free education, they’re employees who can be fired at anytime. Can a college athlete be fired

@CoachPHall23 @lt4kicks Most all coaches literally leave within 5 years. Or much less Position Coach 1.5–3 yrs Coordinator 2–4 yrs Head Coach 3–5 yrs What if I commit to a school and they change their scheme when a new coach gets in…what’s your plan for that?

@lt4kicks Put contracts and buyouts on their nil/scholarships. It is such a simple fix but the NCAA is afraid. Most coaches dont leave their job twice within five years unless they are fired. Look at the statistics.

@zach_barnett @_FloridaMan This is a wild article, I don’t know this coach but what agency certification should he get? There is not a governing body and THAT IS THE PROBLEM! I would rather coaches rep the players than the “street agents” we have currently. Why don’t we work on a certification system.

Let’s throw in the LB’s as well. So many coaches that cannot teach basic LB fundamentals. Generalizing a coaching point is not actually coaching. Repeating “Stay low” in every drill doesn’t actually teach or correct anything. We need more quality LB Coaches at the HS level!
Talk N Shoot@ChalkLast0712

WRs are probably the most under coached position at the HS level. So much emphasis on physical development & very little focus on skill development at most programs. We need more quality coaching of WRs. Well coached WRs can make a huge impact on your offense.
