In Sarandi, northern Paraná (Brazil), a 52-year-old man named Devair Cordeiro Bori was seriously wounded after being stabbed twice in the chest during the early morning hours of March 11, 2026. The victim had met a woman at a bar earlier that night and brought her back to his home on Avenida Barcelona. During an intimate encounter, an argument erupted when he refused her request to buy drugs for her. The woman, who had concealed a knife, then attacked him. Despite his severe injuries, the man managed to flee the house, alert neighbors, and call for help. He was rushed to a hospital and admitted to the ICU in critical condition. The suspect fled the scene on the victim's motorcycle but was located and arrested by police a few hours later. The case is being investigated as attempted murder (tentativa de homicídio) by the Civil Police.

@Scorpio_Karen18 But if you're looking , watch some of the auctions on hibid Ontario and Quebec. Soon many marinas will auction off their overstock I'm currently watching this one, but my wife says no more boats for the fleet. How am I supposed to build a proper armada?

@Scorpio_Karen18 It's unfortunate but most of the Navigation charts have very little info on the back lakes, downside of being blessed with so many. The lake is live on has none but the one up the road does. Some are better like Garmin as there are a lot of crowd sourced info.

Looking at boats today. This is a cute one and a manageable size but several peeps in my area are recommending staying away from fiberglass because I want to take it in the river and a few lakes known to have a lot of rocks/boulders. Anyone have experience with this? Would you buy fiberglass again?

@mobinfiltrator Sounds like TB or hepatitis vaccine? They are the only 2 part I remember from my kids and my own service intake. Pretty low risk, well established vaccines.

Both my kids got suspended from different schools today. Apparently they both had vaccines three or four years ago, that Niagara Health gave them, that were too close together. Thoughts? I really don’t want them to have vaccines they’ve already had.

@Scorpio_Karen18 But for lots of unknown waters that pontoon is a good bet. Depends what you want to do on your boat.

@Scorpio_Karen18 Regardless of hull material, the key thing is knowing the waterways your using. They pretty much all break when ran aground hard. Of the aluminum i prefer Crestliner, solid extruded keel member, lots of videos of them grounded hard.
