@arfmaosama i know what you mean- and this is gonna be a lil semantic… but no need to lower those standards! id say its more, being okay with not meeting that standard- and really thinking about why exactly it doesnt meet that standard when you notice it… thats where the growth happens!

@moppy_noko for me its less about embarrassment and more about just, being too much of a perfectionist i think, i have insanely high standards for myself and dont know how to lower them... and along with that its incredibly hard to make myself draw often cuz adhd is beating my butt :(

@arfmaosama absolutely! completely understand having bad feelings about it, and it can take forever to feel like you’re getting closer to where you want… but try your hardest to have fun with it in the moment! it doesn’t need to be public, so there is no need to be embarrassed or anything!

@arfmaosama by reminding yourself theyre valuable! i know it can be embarrassing, but not making any more mistakes means you’re slowing down on improving and learning… it gets easier the more you allow yourself to think like this. this is true outside of just drawing too!
