The Minister of Public Service chaired a TMT, where several key presentations relating to the operationalisation of the Public Service Pension Fund were made and discussed: the interim structure for the secondment of staff to the PSPF, job descriptions & person specifications etc

The technical team from the Management Services Department of the Ministry of Public Service, led by Thomas Obel (SMA), in collaboration with Makerere University, is testing the digital tool to measure productivity in the Public Service in the Eastern and Northern regions.

The Ministry of Public Service convened a consultative meeting with all Records Cadres in service to review the Draft Regulatory Impact Assessment (RIA) and the National Records and Archives Management Policy and Regulations.

The PS/MoPS, together with representatives from the MoE&S and the MOGLSD,convened a meeting with all teachers’ unions to discuss the issues affecting them, particularly the salary enhancement, with the aim of averting the planned industrial action.

The Ministry of Public Service received 30 desktop computers and related accessories from the Contractor, New Wave Technologies Ltd, with support from REAP–MoFPED, to support the ongoing rollout of the online system for tracking the level of adoption and compliance with SDS.
