Thanks to the hard work of our Trail Liaisons and volunteers, the new Homerun trail has just been completed, making James Long one of the one of the fastest growing systems in the region. Future plans include several more miles of trails and connections to nearby parks.

The James Long Park Trail System in Prince William County, Virginia is packed with short, steep climbs and descents between ridges and creek beds.

MORE and longstanding partner Friends of Patapsco Valley State Park have been working on getting more people of all abilities on trails and are gearing up for an Adaptive Cycling event on 4/30. What is adaptive cycling? What makes an adaptive trail? How can I get involved?

The Tall Poplar Trail in Patapsco is the first adaptive mountain biking trail in a Maryland state park.
