A small ship I love: We made Claude.ai and our desktop apps meaningful faster this week. We moved our architecture from SSR to a static @vite_js & @tan_stack router setup that we can serve straight from workers at the edge. Time to first byte is down 65% at p75, prompts show up 50% sooner, navigation is snappier. We're not done (not even close!) but we care and we'll keep chipping away. Aiming to make Claude a little better every day.

7 releases of arbor in 5 days. You can now fuzzy-select worktrees when switching or removing them, set up post-create hooks, and configure per-project settings via .arbor.toml. Also added --base to branch from any ref, arbor clean for bulk removal, and auto-generated shell completions. Git worktrees have always had rough ergonomics and I keep wanting to make them less painful to use. github.com/morellodev/arb…

Git worktrees let you check out multiple branches at the same time, each in its own directory. No stashing, no losing your place. The problem is git makes you pick a directory every time, so they end up everywhere. I built a CLI to fix that. morello.dev/blog/git-workt…

arbor v0.2.4 is out with per-project worktree directories. If you use Claude Code's parallel sessions, you can now keep worktrees inside your project instead of the global ~/.arbor/worktrees. One line in .arbor.toml and you're set. github.com/morellodev/arb…

arbor v0.2.2 is out with post-create hooks. I got tired of repeating the same setup steps every time I created a worktree, so now you can automate that. github.com/morellodev/arb…

I’ve just discovered Blob Opera, a Google Arts & Culture experiment trained on real opera singers that turns four blobs into an AI vocal quartet you can play like an instrument. Ridiculously addictive. artsandculture.google.com/experiment/blo…

Just shipped arbor clean. Interactive picker to select which worktrees to remove. Pass -d to delete the local branches too. No copy-pasting paths, no flags to remember.

I've been building arbor, a CLI that manages git worktrees in one place. The problem with worktrees is they pile up fast. You start a feature, a hotfix lands, someone asks you to review something... Suddenly you have 5 branches checked out and half of them are stale.

The problem: "git worktree add" makes you pick a path every time. After a few branches you've got worktrees in ~/tmp, ~/Desktop, inside other repos… arbor puts them all under ~/.arbor/worktrees/. One place, always findable.
